Hello Blogger friends! My mom and I will be sharing this blog so today it is me writing-Elizabeth Michelle. Today we are very proud to say we reached our goal of 850 fans on facebook! To celebrate this accomplishment we will be randomly choosing a fan to receive a $25 gift certificate! Check our FB page for the name to be announced......soon!! Good Luck! We are also gearing up for our event at Lucha Libre Gourmet Taco Shop in San Diego. We will donate 10% of all sales to one of our favorite non-profit organizations-March of Dimes, as well as all website sales for 30 days following the event. So mark your calendars, April 25th 12-4pm, 1810 W. Washington St. We hope to meet lots of our fans and introduce you to a fun, inexpensive taco shop that has the best burritos in town (according to 10 news A-List!!) I was reminded of one of my favorite quotes today and thought I would share....while sitting at work stewing in my frustration over a minor (seemed MAJOR at the time) miscommunication I came across the quote "Happiness is a Choice Away." Now I have heard this quote many times but this time it stuck! I decided to take a little break from work and when I came back decided this minor hick-up in my day was not going to influence my mood for the entire rest of the day! It is not always easy to do this but once I made the decision, put a smile on my face and carried on with my day I had forgotten about the entire incident and why I was so frustrated in the first place! Each day we will be faced with challenges, a million reasons to be crabby and focus on all the reasons why you should not be in a good mood that day, but I challenge each of you to do as I did and make the choice to be HAPPY!! It amazed me how proud I was of myself and how much I was able to enjoy the rest of my work day...all 10 1/2 hours of it!! Happy Friday to all!
